Improvements
There were some errors that we had made in our experiment, and some ways to improve them. For example, we only used golden potatoes in an experiment. For more results on different parts of potatoes, you can use different types of potatoes, such as sweet potatoes, tubers, etc.
Another improvement we can do, is use different potato forms. For example, we just used raw potatoes. To diversify your results, you can use baked potato, boiled potato, frozen potato, etc.
You may also wish to use more accurate timing, or try to use more quantitative data, such as actually using scientific instruments to gauge the reaction, instead of just human sight. This may improve the calcuation of when the experiment actually starts.
Another error we made was inacurate measurments. Some of the potatoes were a bit smaller than the others, so the reaction time may be a bit screwed up. Measuring the dimensions exactly will help you avoid this error.
